I believe the wireless bridge can be connected to any device that you want to connect wirelessly to your router or to your network (printers, switch, etc.). The wireless adapter (gaming) may only be connected to a game console or to a computer. Plus, the wireless bridge may consist of more than one ethernet port so you may use it not just for your PS2.

wireless gaming adapter - making gaming consoles wireless

wireless bridge - making Ethernet ready devices wireless
