Setting Up the Fingerprint Sensor Feature on the Note 8

In order to unlock your phone or confirm purchases using only a fingerprint, you need to set up this feature first. Here’s how:

STEP 1: Tap the gear icon on the upper-right hand corner to open Settings.

STEP 2: Tap on Lock screen and security.

STEP 3: Tap on Fingerprint scanner.

STEP 4: Follow the instructions to add your fingerprint.

One of the benefits of adding your fingerprint to your phone is that you can easily unlock your phone only with a saved fingerprint. Follow the steps below to finish the fingerprint setup on your Note 8.
