With the fourth-generation Apple TV, you can create both screenshots and video recordings using the set top box, a USB-C to USB cable, and your computer. This feature is useful especially if you want to snap a picture of your gameplay results like an all-time high score, or would like to build an app walkthrough. Keep in mind though, that you won’t be able to use these commands or controls for any copyrighted or DRM-laden content. If you attempt to do so, you will only see a blank, black screen.
