How to Turn Off Find My iPhone, iPad, Mac on iOS and macOS

Turning Off Find My Mac

STEP 1: Click on the Apple menu, then select System Preferences.

STEP 2: Click iCloud.

STEP 3: Scroll down, then look for the Find My Mac option from the list.

STEP 4: Check the box next to Find My Mac to disable it.

STEP 5: When prompted, enter your Apple ID password, then click Continue to confirm.

Turning Off Find My iPhone/iPad

STEP 1: On your iPhone/iPad Home screen, go to Settings.

STEP 2: Tap on your Apple ID banner at the top of the main Settings screen.

STEP 3: Tap iCloud.

STEP 4: Scroll down, then tap on Find My iPhone (or iPad).

STEP 5: Toggle off Find My iPhone (or iPad).

STEP 6: When prompted, enter your Apple ID password, then tap on Turn Off to confirm.
