When you browse the Internet using Amazon’s Fire tablets, you don’t use Google’s Chrome browser. Instead, you’re using its proprietary Silk browser, which like all other browsers, keeps a history and saves cookies you may want to erase at some point in time.
Below are the steps on how you can delete cookies as well as the browsing history on an Amazon Fire tablet.
STEP 1: On your tablet’s Home screen, swipe down from the top to go to the notification window.
STEP 2: Tap on Settings.
STEP 3: Tap on Apps & Games.
STEP 4: Tap Amazon Application Settings.
STEP 5: Tap on Silk Browser.
STEP 6: On the Silk Settings window, tap on Privacy.
STEP 7: Tap on Clear browsing data.
STEP 8: On the next screen, tap the Clear Data button.
NOTE: If you want your tablet to be extra clean, check the boxes next to Saved passwords and Autofill form data before tapping Clear Data.
